Information you submit
The public site does not currently offer reader accounts. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, subject, and message you provide so the editorial team can review and respond.
Security and abuse prevention
The contact form may store a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address to help identify repeated abuse without retaining that address in the message record. Hosting and security systems may separately process standard request logs.
Cookies and analytics
Essential session and security cookies support forms and core reading features. The site_cookie_consent cookie remembers your choice for up to 180 days. The Google tag loads on each page with analytics storage denied unless you previously selected “Allow analytics.” Before consent, it does not set Google Analytics measurement cookies. Google may receive consent-state and cookieless measurement signals. If permitted, Google may set measurement cookies such as _ga so Reader Stacks can understand which tutorials and comparisons are useful. Advertising storage and ad personalization remain disabled.
Changing your cookie choice
Use the “Cookie bookmark” link at the bottom of any page to reopen the notice. Choosing “Essential only” changes analytics storage to denied and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this domain. Information already transmitted after earlier consent is handled under Google’s privacy terms.
